Richmond Skin & Laser Clinic

I had a disappointing experience with this clinic and wanted to share it to help others make an informed decision. I booked a consultation for pigmentation treatment and purchased a laser treatment package during my first visit. During the consultation, a cleanser and a gel was applied to my skin, and afterwards I experienced a flare-up and developed darker spots. The practitioner acknowledged that my skin may have reacted to the gel. What concerned me most was the approach to skincare recommendations during the initial consultation. I was encouraged to purchase multiple DMK products as part of a skincare routine, which represented a significant additional cost. I felt that there was a strong focus on introducing products and treatments very early on, before I had confidence that my skin would tolerate them. After experiencing the reaction, I became concerned about proceeding with laser treatment and contacted the clinic to request a refund. Initially, I was advised that the package was non-refundable. I was offered a complimentary treatment to help calm my skin, but I did not feel comfortable undergoing further treatment while my skin was recovering. After further discussion and a review by the manager, the clinic agreed to refund the unused package. I was relieved that this was resolved, but the overall experience was stressful and left me feeling disappointed and worried.
