I recently visited this studio after purchasing a Groupon voucher for a full set of volume lash extensions, valued at $129. The studio itself was clean, beautifully designed, and looked very professional. The lash technician was polite and took her time with the application, which initially gave me hope for a good outcome. Unfortunately, the final result was incredibly disappointing. Despite purchasing a full volume set, what I received looked more like a sparse natural set — and not a great one. Only about 50% of my lashes were covered, and the extensions used were thick, uneven strands that didn’t blend naturally at all. When I expressed concern, the technician told me that this was all that could be done with a Groupon voucher. Frankly, if they’re not willing to provide the full volume set as advertised, they should not be listing it on Groupon as such. They also offer a natural set for a much lower price, and I genuinely regret not going for that instead — because that’s essentially what I ended up with. To make matters worse, the lashes started falling out after just four days, and by the second week, I was left with only 4–5 lashes still hanging on. It was a waste of time and money, and I wouldn’t recommend this studio for lash extensions — with or without a Groupon. I can’t speak to their other services, but based on this experience, I won’t be returning to find out.

i recently visited Moon Skin, and it was an incredible experience! This salon is a true gem in Melbourne, and coco and her team just made my first visit unforgettable. 🥰🥰I tried their Valmont skincare treatment, which lasted 90 minutes, and every minute was a luxury. My skin was treated with such care, and the professionals there were both skilled and attentive. After the treatment, my skin was glowing, and my cheeks, which usually get red and sensitive, were calm and soothed. I also got eyelash extensions here, and they were amazing! Unlike traditional extensions that can feel too dramatic, these Chinese-style extensions are personalized to enhance your natural beauty. They’re customized for your unique eye shape, and the result was subtle yet stunning—no heavy, fan-like feeling when I blink, just beautifully enhanced eyes.🥳🥳🥳i’m literally so obsessed with my lashes and will definitely be back Definitely the best salon experience I’ve had in Melbourne. Highly recommend Moon Skin Clinic for anyone looking to indulge in top-tier skincare and beauty services!

I really wanted to love MOON SKIN & MAKEUP STUDIO because the salon is absolutely beautiful, clean, and the staff were kind and welcoming. But unfortunately, my lash extension experience left me really disappointed and honestly, a bit heartbroken. Right after getting them done, they looked okay — not amazing, but fine. But as they started falling out, I realized they were also pulling out my natural lashes with them. I already had very few lashes, and now I’m left with even less. It was devastating. They used thick, heavy lashes that didn’t suit my fine natural ones at all. They felt synthetic and stiff — I could feel them every time I rubbed my eyes, and sometimes they even left tiny scratch marks. It was really uncomfortable and didn’t feel safe. For the price I paid, I expected better. They clearly cut corners on the quality of the lashes, and it shows. It's such a shame because the service and space were great — but no matter how nice a salon looks, it doesn't make up for damage to your natural lashes. I won’t be coming back.
