A lot of positive reviews here are for Nikita, who no longer works at this clinic. I attended for Dysport to my forehead, frown lines and a subtle brow lift. What I received was the complete opposite. I developed significant right eyelid ptosis, confirmed by multiple medical professionals. I could not properly open my eye and it affected my vision and daily functioning. I was forced to attend both an emergency department and an urgent care clinic and required prescription eye drops at my own expense and had to tape my face up so I could see out of my eye. This was not a minor cosmetic issue. This was a serious and distressing outcome that has now lasted almost a month. I paid over $500 and not only did I not receive what I asked for. Instead, I was left with opposite results - asymmetrical brows that lowered towards my eyes, and eyelid ptosis requiring urgent medical treatment. Based on my previous experience at other clinics, this was clearly not just “the way I reacted” to the treatment. What is even more concerning is how this was handled. The nurse basically said well it’s a known risk you signed on the consent form, funny how I’ve had anti-wrinkle for 3-4 years on a regular basis at another clinic but have never had any symptoms or issues, so I don’t accept that excuse or lack of accountability for what was done to me. Management has also been completely dismissive. Nearly a month later, I have still received no meaningful response or apology, or offer of a resolution. I have escalated this matter to the relevant health authorities including the health commissioner and AHPRA with my serious concerns. The way this situation has been handled, particularly the complete lack of accountability and response to someone experiencing a medical complication after the clinics treatment, is alarming. I would strongly urge anyone considering this clinic to think very carefully and consider other options. I regret ever stepping foot here.
